Hi... welcome to Scarlett's Blog. Each day, we will try to post updates and new pictures of our sweet little one. Over time, we'll do our best to fill in the details from the first week and half. Until then, please visit frequently, and enjoy. Eventually, older blogs will disappear, but can be found in the archive list at the bottom on the right.

Our Nicknames
- Arley = Dad's nickname for Scarlett; the diminutive form of Arle, taken from the middle of her name: sc[ARLE]tt, pronounced (are - lee)- we're also playing with the spelling: Arle. Mommy doesn't like any spelling.
- Turtle = Mom's nickname because Scarlett does a particular stretch with her head back, and wrinkled neck, giving Scarlett a tortise like appearance. We still don't have a good picture yet.

Hi Scarlett, Laura, and Chris. You are such a doll and I love looking at your Blog. This way Jim and I can watch you grow. Keep the pictures coming so that we can feel we are nearby. We leave in a month for a cruise to Europe so when we get back in late May, you will be a 'big girl'. LOve to your whole family....JOdie and Jim
